Sori Yanagi Was Born In Tokyo, Japan In 1915. His Father, Soetsu Yanagi, Was The Founder Of Mingei (Japanese Folk Art) And Established The Nihon Mingeikan, The Folk Crafts Museum Of Japan. Sori Was Inspired By Le Corbusier And Charlotte Perriand And Designed Many Products, Such As Furniture, Three-Wheeled Vehicles, Olympic Cauldrons, And Pedestrian Overpasses. He Is Most Famous For His Water Kettle, Butterfly Chair In 1954, And Porcelain And Silverware Series. Nihon Yoshokki Co Ltd Manufactures Most Of Sori Yanagi'S Kitchenware And Tableware.
